Apply possessed knowledge of core subjects of production and industrial engineering to solve different problems.
Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

Programme Specific Outcomes

PSO1: To define, identify, apply and analyze the knowledge of recent computing technologies, skills and current tools of computer science and engineering to understand and discuss the contemporary research issues in the different areas of computer science & engineering by organising, measuring and evaluating complex engineering problems through modeling and appropriate techniques.
PSO2: To design software systems, components or processes to meet identified needs within economic, environmental and social constraints and to propose and organize ideas in a summarized and planned manner by applying the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering and engineering specialization to find a solution by analyzing, identifying and formulating complex research problems.

Features Scope

M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering opens plethora of options in the field of academics and research. Students may enroll for Ph.D or work as research fellows in government funded projects.
M.Tech is the minimum qualification for Assistant Professors in govt. and private universities/engineering colleges. At present, self paced learning is being promoted by the Govt. of India. Under this initiative, students may contribute in the development of course modules as video lectures and upload them on Internet as MOOC courses.
