Dr. Shikha Singh
Dr. Shikha Singh earned her PhD Degree from Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 2014. Since then, she has been actively involved in Research in the area of High-Frequency Power Conversion, DC-DC Converters and Control Strategies, Power Quality, GiSPVT, Solar systems, Electric Vehicles and in teaching. She has published more than 25 research papers in various transactions and journals of repute such as IEEE Transactions of Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions of Industry Applications, IET Power Electronics, International Journal of Power Electronics, Electric Power Components and Systems, e-Prime-Advances in Electrical and Electronics Engineering etc. She has published 2 book chapters and presented various research papers in national and international conferences. She has guided various B.Tech projects, M.Tech Dissertations and 1 PhD under her supervision. Her research work has been awarded for best 10% of the doctoral student for “Distinction in Doctoral Research” by Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. In 2015, she got POSOCO Power System Award
(PPSA-2015) from Power System Operation Corporation (POSOCO) –a subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (POWER GRID) for the top 10 PhD research work in India and received a cash prize of Rs. 60,000. In 2019, she got President of India’s Prize for the best paper of the year from Journal of the Institution of Engineers (India): Series B. She is a life member of Institution of Engineers (India), The Indian Science Congress Association.
