B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (Lateral Entry)

Developing systems which can perform optimally and economically

Overview

The study of mechanical engineering involves applying the principles of mechanics to the design and construction of various types of tools and machinery. The industrial revolution depends on knowledge. Mechanical engineers use these basic concepts in conjunction with tools like computer-aided design (CAD) and product lifecycle management to develop, assess, and produce equipment. Mechanical engineering is one of the broadest and oldest engineering specializations, and it is always evolving.

As one of the best universities in Uttar Pradesh, SRMU has gained recognition in the field of mechanical engineering by producing highly qualified graduates in recent years. The Faculty of Engineering's four-year Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's program seeks to give all students a foundational grasp of mechanics on a number of levels. The department has taken a unique approach to the program's breadth, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of basic mechanical topics such as thermodynamics, mechanics, materials, manufacturing, design, material science, structural analysis, and so on.

Our highly experienced professional faculty and resource people from prestigious universities around the nation, including IITs and NITs, enable us to offer our students an engaging and rewarding mechanical engineering learning experience, making us one of the best mechanical engineering colleges in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Enrolling in the second year of the program allows all diploma holders (polytechnic graduates) and B.Sc. graduates to get more knowledge about the area of mechanical engineering.
