IQAC Overview

Sustained quality assurance ensures that at both the institutional and disciplinary levels, there is a culture of continuous improvement and growth. Hence, at SRMU, an institution-wide quality management system serves as the foundation for external quality assurance mechanisms like accreditation.


The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) assesses accreditation requirements, and is dedicated to enhancing overall institutional performance through conscious and catalytic improvements.

Organisation

Organisation

The IQAC is composed of a Director and Committee Members, who report to the Vice-Chancellor. It also consists of a NAAC committee and NIRF committee to oversee accreditation processes.

IIQA

IIQA is a procedure used to determine if an organization is "accreditation ready." Online Institutional Information for Quality Assessment (IIQA) submission is necessary for qualified HEIs requesting an A&A.
