Overview

The planning, development, and maintenance of the built environment, which includes infrastructure like roads, bridges, buildings, canals, dams, and bridges, are the main modules of a diploma in civil engineering. Program Objectives
  1. To provide opportunities and develop competence to work as a leader, manager or team member in multidisciplinary civil engineering works and projects.

  6. Examine the impact of engineering solutions in global and environmental contexts and utilize the knowledge for sustained development.

  8. Perform effectively as an individual or as a member/ supervisor/ leader in multidisciplinary teams.

  9. Supervise the operation of industrial equipments and examine their performances.

  10. Communicate on engineering activities with the engineering community and society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write reports and design documentation, make presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.

  11. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles to manage projects in multidisciplinary environment.
